The integration of existing brownfield environments with more modern technology is a significant challenge for industries all over the world. Operational Technology (OT) systems such as SCADA that manage and control operational efficiency and safety are used to control real-world devices and systems. The challenge is to integrate these systems with IT systems and networks, allowing data and control to flow beyond the control room. Our primary responsibility is to ensure that production systems are not impacted, and integration points must be carefully specified and standardized.
