In the previous chapter, we learned how to set up master data in TMS while covering all the aspects of transportation. In this chapter, we will look at the SAP Logistics Execution System (SAP LES) and learn how to configure warehouse master data to achieve logistics execution. SAP LES is an integral component of the SAP ECC system and allows us to move goods both inbound and outbound. It also provides transportation functions, shipment functions, and warehouse management functions. The logistics execution within this book is achieved by SAP LES and not through SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
