The Rotate Tool
The Rotate Tool adds one more variable to the Move tool workflow—the Rotate tool rotates objects around a specified center point. The Rotate tool does not just do internal Object Rotation. Objects can be rotated around any point in a drawing! The Rotate tool uses the Ctrl key as the Copy modifier key, and this works the same way as Move for copies and multiple copies. The Rotate tool is represented by two curved arrows turning around each other:

The Rotate tool can be activated by doing the following:
- Clicking on any of the Rotate tool buttons
- Hitting Q on the keyboard
The Rotate tool selects the Geometry at the same time as selecting the central rotation point and rotation plane. It is highly recommended to preselect geometry when starting out with the Rotate tool. Once the Geometry is selected, three points must be picked to define the rotation angle.
