Chapter 2. Planning the Curriculum
The previous chapter provided you with an overview of edX as both a MOOC platform and an organization, while helping you understand its potential and purpose. You were also introduced to your role and responsibilities as an edX instructor. Now that you have gained an understanding of edX, signed up for Studio, and launched your first course, let's start planning your curriculum.
This chapter identifies your course's instructional elements and introduces the components of the curriculum that you will create in Chapter 3, Producing Videos, and Chapter 4, Designing Exercises. We will add these materials into our edX course and review their specific requirements in Chapter 5, Integrating Curriculum.
