Revisiting the business case

As the implementation of the SDDC might have taken quite some time it is important to revisit the business case and see if it still fits. The business might have changed its demands and therefore the data center automation might also need a change or an update. The initially created service might still be relevant, but there might be new services required to serve other cases. Therefore it is wise to keep the business close to the IT in order to be aware of actual requirements.

In the new SDDC environment, the introduction of new services should be simpler as in the non-automated data center. However, that does not mean that this works without planning and designing. There might be a domino effect if a single blueprint is changed affecting also other systems.

Such a change might be the introduction of a new service, which includes the automated installation of all components. It might be a business system, which can be ordered on demand and is completely deployed...
