Serverless is one of the hottest buzzwords in technology these days, and everyone wants to ride this bandwagon. Serverless brings a lot of advantages in overall computing, software development processes, infrastructure, and technical implementation. There is a lot going on in the industry: at one end of the spectrum is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and at the other is serverless. In between are Platform as a Service (PaaS) and containers. I have met many developers and it seems to me that there exists some level of confusion among them about IaaS, PaaS, containers, and serverless computing.
