Setting clip colors in a bin
Note that you can also set different colors for segments (clips) in the Sequence. You'll find the details on that in the recipe that follows this one.
How to do it...
Follow these steps to set Clips Colors in a bin:
Put your bin into Text View. Notice the column of squares to the left side of the clip's name. These are the color swatches.
Select the clips and/or sequences.
Once selected, set the color with one of the following methods:
Right-click on the color swatch of one of the selected items and make a selection from the palette
Go to the Edit menu, and select Clip Color, and make a selection from the palette
In the Timeline Window, to display the colors you've assigned to the clips in the bin. Go to Timeline Window Fast Menu (the hamburger-looking icon in the bottom left side of the Timeline Window) | Clip Color | Source.
