Technical requirements
To walk through the examples provided in this chapter, you will need the following:
- Power BI Desktop
You can install Power BI from the Microsoft Store or find more advanced downloading options here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494.
- An Azure subscription
Azure ML is a service available in Azure. To create a service or resource, you need to have access to an Azure subscription. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up for a free subscription here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/.
- Sample dataset
A sample dataset of the number of tourists per month in the Netherlands is used in the examples provided in this chapter.
The tourism data is collected by Statistics Netherlands and can be found in their online open database here: https://opendata.cbs.nl/#/CBS/nl/dataset/82058NED/table?searchKeywords=logiesaccommodaties.
