Giving Siri commands
When you ask Siri a question, Siri may or may not know how to answer. Rather than asking questions covering a variety of topics, it's far more useful to use Siri to save time. Rather than performing specific tasks yourself, just tell Siri what to do. Not only is Siri far more accurate at performing common tasks, but relying on Siri can also save you the time of tapping through various screens to perform common tasks such as setting up appointments or alarms yourself.
Some of the different tasks Siri can perform include the following:
- Getting the current time
- Getting the current weather
- Translating words and phrases
- Setting, editing, and deleting an alarm
- Setting a timer
- Setting a reminder
- Setting an appointment
- Getting directions
- Sending and receiving text messages
- Making phone calls
- Opening an app
- Tracking flights above you
Let's look at how we can get Siri to perform these tasks.
