Today, data centers worldwide represent the information backbone of our increasingly digitized world. The forecast is that the global data center market will nearly double in this decade and become a $948 billion industry in 2030, up from $466 billion in 2020 (Verdict 2022). Data centers have become crucial to business operations. In particular, the recent pandemic forced many companies to adapt quickly and migrate their on-premises services to the cloud to cater to the demand of an increasingly distributed workforce.
