Social Media are two ominous buzzwords that don't mean much, unless what you do is social in nature and the media, or content, you provide is relevant to your users. Billions of Internet users own billions of phones and produce billions of tweets. Attempting to earn the attention of just a small slice of those online users on a global level is no easier feat than trying to do the same in the real world on a local level. Sure, there are plugins, snippets and add-ons, which can assist you in getting more engagement out of your WordPress users, but everything falls back to content. Your users need to be able to react to it, which means you need to supply accessible, relevant, and useful, if not entertaining, content.
