Getting into the server-side script
The server-side script runs on Service-Now server-side. Out of the box, Service-Now provides many ways to interact with Business Rules
and Script Includes
. Business Rules
are like a DataManipulationLanguage (DML) command, which helps to manipulate the form field, and Script Includes
are like a central repository of code, where you place all your code and call from the client side.
Getting ready
To go through this recipe, you should have an active Service-Now instance and valid credentials with an admin role.
How to do it…
- Open any standard web browser and type the instance address.
- Log in to the instance using valid credentials.
