Kubernetes, also known as K8s, is an open source container orchestrator that was initially developed by Google and donated to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. It allows you to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications. As an open source platform, it can run on multiple environments both on-premises as well as in the public cloud.
