Connecting to the IPsec VPN service

This recipe demonstrates how to connect to the IPsec service configured in the previous recipe. We will be connecting as a remote client. For this recipe, we will be using the Shrew Soft VPN client, which works with most versions of Windows (2000 and later). You can download this client at https://www.shrew.net/download/vpn.

Getting ready

You will need to download the most recent Shrew Soft VPN client that is compatible with your version of Windows. Once you do this, run the installer.
