Gap analysis
The results of the capability analysis indicated that WBCV was reasonably mature in SOA. This was to be expected given that WBCV had already made a significant investment in maturing its SOA implementation and had already started to see the fruits of that investment. Likewise, WBCV's enterprise architecture team had been implementing The Open Group Architecture Framework TOGAF for the past few years and, although they were still facing some challenges rolling it out across the entire organization, they were in fairly good shape in this discipline.

Furthermore, given that WBCV's CIO had already created a digital strategy and initiated a digital transformation process, WBCV scored well in this domain also.
