Setting Up Moodle Networking
Moodle provides a unique feature that lets you network multiple Moodle sites. This networking functionality is useful in several contexts – for example, when you want to share resources with remote LMSs, partner with another organization, or have a multi-campus setup where each site has its own Moodle instance.
After providing an overview of Moodle networking (MNet), we will learn which networking components are required and how networking is enabled. Next, we will will learn how to link two Moodle sites, which entails setting up peer-to-peer connections, roaming across instances, configuring remote authentication and enrolment, and using the Networks server block. Lastly, we will learn how to connect multiple Moodle sites to a central MNet hub.
