Summary
We have spent the first half of this book learning about Moodle and seeing how we can take the resources we've been using and importing them into our Moodle course. We've come across many different techniques we can use to achieve this, and we've used this chapter to spend a little extra time practicing and reinforcing the ideas we have learned in this book so far.
Specifically, we covered:
Arranging resources within topics to make topics look more visually appealing. We used the Label resource as the glue to hold resources together.
We took a comprehensive look at tips and tricks we can use to make our courses more engaging for students.
We included an animated character using Voki.com, and gained more practice at using embeddable code. Other free, animated characters are available (for example, http://digimi.com).
We used an HTML block to provide a welcome message to our students.
