Data residency

Generally speaking, Microsoft Sentinel can run on Log Analytics workspaces in most of the General Availability (GA) regions. There are a few exceptions in the China and Germany regions, but other than that, you will be good to go!

The data that is generated by Microsoft Sentinel will contain items about any incidents, bookmarks, analytics rules, and potentially your tenant-related data that's within your Log Analytics workspace.
