Notifications since iOS 10 are getting more and more powerful every year, and give you the flexibility to create rich custom content with very little work. In this chapter, we learned how to build basic notifications, as well as grouped notifications, and added a custom summary and hidden text. Then, we stepped it up a bit by adding embedded images into our notifications. We briefly looked at how to add a custom notification using an extension. Finally, we looked at launching Custom Notification Settings from the settings app into our app.
In the next chapter, we will look at SiriKit and look at how we can integrate it into our app.
