Navigating through infrastructure and architectural complexity

Do not go for a 100% coverage approach. Ingesting every bit and fragment of available data in all forms is not going to give you meaningful information. Like cloud-native start-ups that have observability in mind from day one, during the application implementation stage, decide on the data points for each touch point. Have discussions with the architects and developers to identify the logs, metrics, or traces that will be ingested into the observability platform. Any form of data can be chosen as long as it provides the required information.
