The SSH.NET library exposes operations on its SshClient class to perform everything from a simple command to opening up a shell terminal linked to the remote host. One of the core aspects of SSH, though, is that it is only intended to serve as a communication tunnel to a remote host. Therefore, the connections you can execute and the resources you can take advantage of will always be constrained by the remote host you're interacting with. In our example, we're working with an Ubuntu Linux host, so we're restricted to the commands and features supported by OpenSSH servers hosted on Ubuntu. With that in mind, let's look at how we can execute the operations available to us using SSH.NET.
