Learning Power Automate and Microsoft Lists
Power Automate allows you to create workflows in Microsoft 365 and automate processes and respond to actions and events. This includes cloud flows, which we will cover in this section, as well as desktop flows, which are used to perform repetitive actions on actual devices. Any flow mentioned within this chapter is a cloud flow, and we will refer to them as flows only.
Power Automate uses so-called connectors to connect to the various offerings within the Microsoft cloud, such as SharePoint, Outlook, Azure, and others, as well as external systems. When using Power Automate, you will not find any connector specific to Microsoft Lists. Instead, you will need to use the connectors built for SharePoint that allow you to connect to any list, team, or personnel.
