Leveraging Sales Insights features

With the second wave released in 2019, Dynamics 365 added Sales Insights. This is a new, AI-driven set of functionality and features that analyze data from sources like your Dynamics 365 Sales along with Office 365 to generate recommendations.

Sales Insights comes in three flavors:

  • Free Sales Insights features
  • Advanced Sales Insights features
  • The Sales Insights application

The features available with each of these offerings are described next.

Free Sales Insights

The subsequent sections describe the features that are available for free with the Sales Insights component of Dynamics 365.

Assistant

Formerly known as Relationship Assistant, this feature analyzes data in your Dynamics 365 system and generates action cards specific to users. An Action Card is a component displayed to users on both web-based applications and on mobile devices. The following screenshot shows an Action Card:
