Changing keyframe timing in the timeline
You've completed your keyframing masterpiece, but perhaps the timing isn't quite right. Does the image spin a little too fast? Too slow? Maybe you don't want all the parameters to start and end exactly on the same frames. Or you want a particular animation to end on a beat in your soundtrack. You don't have to start your keyframing all over again. Keyframe retiming can be accomplished right in the timeline itself.
Getting ready
We're going to carry on with the animation we made in the last recipe, Moving clips in sync with compound clips.
How to do it...
1. Highlight the animated clip and choose Clip | Show Video Animation or hit Command + V. A large blue box appears above the clip. You may need to adjust your timeline height in order to see the entire thing. This window lets you see the location of keyframes for many properties of the clip including effects (if any have been applied), certain color corrections, transformations, crops, distorts, and...
