Software for business and the principle of alignment
At this point of the book, it should already be quite clear, but it does not harm us to recall that we are only talking about professional information systems. In short, we put ourselves in a case where software really means business: applications that are mission-critical for companies, information systems that help production for a commercial company or a non-profit organization, etc. All recommendations that follow would not make any sense on small systems and would be way too complicated if applied to a simple piece of software application.
