How do I buy and download an eBook?

Where there is an eBook version of a title available, you can buy it from the book details for that title. Add either the standalone eBook or the eBook and print book bundle to your shopping cart. Your eBook will show in your cart as a product on its own. After completing checkout and payment in the normal way, you will receive your receipt on the screen containing a link to a personalised PDF download file. This link will remain active for 30 days. You can download backup copies of the file by logging in to your account at any time.

If you already have Adobe reader installed, then clicking on the link will download and open the PDF file directly. If you don't, then save the PDF file on your machine and download the Reader to view it.

It focuses on installation and administration. The lightest possible treatment of mapping and no explanation of searching at all. I went straight to the section on Text Analysis and Mapping. Good description of the Analyzers (character filter, tokenizer, token filter) then next to nothing on Mapping (the reason I bought the book)Then the chapter on Searching jumped right to searching on a specify Shard using Routing - no explanation of how Searching works.AND there are plenty of errors - as if the writer spent no time actually running his queries, only hand-writing the results.The only reason this gets a "2" and not a "1" is that I found value in the Analyzers chapter. But I'm not inclined to read another book in the "PACKT" series. It's as if there was no editing or review of this book before it went live. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SELF PUBLISHED IT WAS SO BAD.

I felt like I am the editor of the book.Or did I receive some blueprint?I definitely don't recommend it to beginners. The book is not only not thought through, it has also some imprecise or misleading information in it.

Vraiment 14€ dépenser pour rien. Aucun exemple pratique, aucune astuce. Rien de plus que ce qui est disponible dans la doc EN LIGNE d'elasticsearch. Le seul cas où ça peut être utile c'est quand vous risquez de ne pas avoir accès à internet : vous pourrez toujours accéder à votre livre kindle. En plus il est tellement navrant ce livre que j'avais même oublié que je l'avais et j'ai laissé filer la date de renvoie de 2 jours et amazon n'a rien voulu savoir au début , malgrès que j'ai acheté plus 40 livres chez eux. , j'ai l'impression de mettre fait arnaquer, d'habitude l'editeur E-pack fait beaucoup , mais beaucoup mieux . Livre à fuir. Suite à mon mecontement amazon a finalement remboursé l'achat , service client Amazon très fort :-)
