Types of storage in the cloud
There are mainly three types of Cloud Storage that you can choose from, depending on the use case:
- Block storage: This is analogous to Storage Area Network (SAN) or Direct Attached Storage (DAS) storage. Data is stored in the form of blocks and offers low latency and really good performance. It is used for virtual machines at a higher cost than other storage types.
