Summary
This final chapter walked us through the development of an application that used Appcelerator Cloud Services to share the device's geographic location with other people. We learned to use tab groups to give our players the ability to navigate from one window to another with ease. We learned that ACS also provides Geolocation features, which we can use if we haven't activated the GPS service on our device. We also learned how to use a map view in more detail, and also how to add pins on to the map. Finally, we used the latest version of the Google Maps component for better performance, and also to be future proof (since Google has now deprecated its previous version).
