Summary
This chapter has covered a lot of information about data governance, including different levels and different aspects. First, we covered data security with different forms of access requirements, encryptions, transmissions, and data masking. Then, we talked about the Data Use Agreement contracts and their main sections: acceptable use, data processing with a focus on data breaches, data deletion, and data retention. Next, we went over different data classifications, such as PII, PHI, and PCI. Finally, we wrapped up our talk about data governance with a section on entity relationship requirements, which briefly touched on record link restrictions, data constraints, and cardinality.
In the next chapter, we will cover everything you need to know about data quality and management for the exam! I’ll see you there!
