Overviewing data center integration in depth

In this section, we will take an in-depth look at the touchpoints for data center integration. You decide how Azure Stack Hub is going to be integrated into your data center but in reality, the integration is a collaborative project between you, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) solution provider, and Microsoft. As we touched on earlier in this chapter when looking at deployment, some of the integration information is provided when completing the deployment worksheet with the OEM vendor. Decisions would have already been made about the following prior to deployment:

• The connection model:

  - Disconnected

• The identity model:

  - Azure Active Directory (AAD)

  - Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)

• The licensing model:

  - Capacity-based billing

  - Pay-as-you-use billing

• Network integration
• Firewall integration
