Summary
John thinks he has already covered all relevant options: CloudFormation, APIs, scripting with multiple languages, and all AWS services using these, such as Systems Manager. At least he has provided a comprehensive first view of all of them, so Alex can return to his office and compare them. He knows he’ll need more information before putting forward a proposal, but lots of help and documentation are available for all the options commented upon.
And they’ve run out of beer, so they agree to continue the chat soon.
