Setting up emergency calling
Your emergency address is the address that emergency services will respond to in the event you have dialed an emergency number, such as 911. In the event of an emergency call, your address can be shared with a public-safety answering point, such as a 911 dispatch center.
Nomadic emergency services enable Zoom to assist in determining your location, and emergency calling should be used only for the purposes of responding to your emergency calls. You will need to set up your location for this feature to work properly.
How to do it…
- From your Zoom client, go to Settings, and then click the Phone tab.
- Scroll down until you see Location Permission. Enable this to allow Zoom to have additional access to your location for emergency calls. This enables advanced features such as location-based access and call routing.
