Despite making things as simple as possible, the build process can still be difficult, but there are things you can do to keep the build focused on developing the product your customers truly need. These include learning from past mistakes and changing the status quo.

Acknowledging that your organization implements projects in a particular way and understanding the reasons why it's historically like this would be a good place to start. As we discussed previously, we are all heavily influenced by our past experiences, and we all have our "war stories" to tell. Consequently, we have our own preferences and biases too.
