Summary
An architectural pattern is a solution to a recurring problem that we encounter along the way in different contexts. By researching, we can start to build our architecture using an existing pattern and then see how we can extend it to check quality attributes and satisfy our requirements.
The need for architectural patterns concerning specific application areas became inevitable once the needs of users evolved and new, more performant tools took over the market. This is how we started working with UI patterns.
The next chapter will destroy some myths about architecture and architects.
