Time for action – checking the attributes of an entity object


Carry out the following steps to check the attributes of an entity object:

  1. Select the EmpEO.xml file from the Model project in the Application Navigator panel.

  2. You will see the the structure of the entity object in the structure window.

  3. Double-click the EmpEO.xml file to open the file in the General tab.

  4. Click on the Attribute section to see all the attributes listed for the entity object.

  5. Now, when you click on the Empno attribute, you will see that the structure window listing gets updated, thereby corresponding to the attribute section in the entity object.

  6. At the same time, you will see a section shown below the attribute listing with all the information related to the selected attribute.

  7. The attribute details will list down all the information related to the attribute. The information is grouped under different tabs.

  8. Select the Ename attribute from the structure window. The attribute and its corresponding information will be displayed...
