The cloud services
In general, the following cloud services are offered by the Dynamics AX partners:

Here, the vendor manages the infrastructure and the Operating System. You only have to worry about managing your application and data. |

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) |
Here, the infrastructure is managed by the vendor and you manage the operating system, application, and data. |

Several Microsoft Dynamics partners provide these services. You can review the cloud partners and see which engagement makes more sense for you. PaaS and IaaS are the most commonly used offerings for Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
