Software deployment device settings
These settings allow you to enter the time when software deployments are re-evaluated. Software deployment re-evaluation sets the schedule when clients re-evaluate the installation status of previous deployments and updates. If some updates or software deployments are missing, they are reinstalled from a local cache or downloaded from the distribution point. Selecting the schedule allows you to change the default value, if it is a custom schedule.

The software inventory device settings allow you to enable or disable a software inventory.
Consider a software inventory as a file inventory. It enables you to inventory certain files based on predefined search parameters.
