UI listing/grid component


The listing or data grid can be valued as the main function of any basic CRUD and it is necessary to have access to the contents present list in a given scope of access. See the example of the products Catalog list in the admin area:

It's possible to see that this standard structure is used at different points of the administrative area of the Magento 2 system, but with a different scope of information according to the area being accessed.

It was necessary to standardize and normalize access to these components to generate a natural expansion resources and rendering elements. Just imagine if, for each theme's administration page, it was necessary to edit new HTML and CSS? It would be totally unproductive.

The listing component is responsible for promoting the filtering schemes of pagination, sorting, and upload inside lists, among other common actions of a system that uses CRUD.
