Chapter 6. Managing Pages, Users, and Permissions
Pages, users, and permission are critical aspects of any site. Pages define any site structure. Users are the backbone and consumers of a site. Permissions and roles act as a security guard to a site. This chapter will focus on creating and managing them.
In the previous chapters, we have learned how to configure a neighborhood site to have a domain name. We have renamed the guest community to CIGNEX Neighborhood and have started building a Liferay site by adding communities, organizations, and user groups.
In this chapter, we continue site building by adding pages, users, and permissions. We will start learning about page management, which includes adding pages, understanding page-level attributes, and other features provided by Liferay for page management.
