About Storyline characters

Storyline provides built-in characters that you can add to a slide. The Characters feature is very useful if you don't have access to a wide range of stock photography and if you want to use more than just a single pose or expression.

There are several illustrated built-in male and female characters and they come in a variety of different hairstyles, clothing, poses, and expressions. Also included is one complete photographic female character.

Characters can be inserted as static images or can be made dynamic and interactive using states and triggers, the latter providing you with the ability to create responsive conversations for the learner. Once inserted, you can modify the character as you would modify any other image; moving, resizing, cropping, animating, or applying image effects such as glows and shadows.
