An introduction to crypto-mining attacks

Blockchain forms the basis for cryptocurrency. In short, blockchain is a chain of digital assets represented as blocks. These blocks have information about the transaction and who was involved in the transaction as a digital signature. Each cryptocurrency is associated with a blockchain. The process of verifying transactional records is called mining. Mining adds history to the blockchain to ensure that blocks cannot be modified in the future. Mining is designed to be resource-intensive to ensure the decentralized property of a blockchain.
