Summary
It is essential to understand the system’s resiliency at any given time. Therefore, there must be a systematic evaluation process to ensure that the underlying platform provides the required availability to continue business operations without any disruption. This chapter has discussed different domains of resiliency for a cloud platform. We discussed the resiliency of cloud platforms by designing HA, backup and restore, cyber recovery, and DR with the means of architecture design and continuous operations.
In the next chapter, we will discuss some essential operation practices to ensure a platform’s resilience.
