We have also covered the different tools that cloud providers have made available to estimate the total cost of solutions and to find out the pricing of cloud services. Understanding these tools and increasing your precision on estimates of potential savings from FinOps initiatives and costs of future projects will be invaluable for your organization going forward.
To bring this chapter to a close, we also explained how to go from manual estimations to fully automated processes that will avoid repeating the same tasks over and over, saving FinOps practitioners precious time and evolving the quality of our data and the information we can get from it.
