Summary
In this chapter, we’ve talked about the pro-coder features for building your own components for the page builder and for the actions. This should allow the pro-coder to add functionality to the platform that might not be available out of the box. These are usually specific functionalities that are not very common. The CLI is available on GitHub to enable the pro-coder to do this and to upload the component set or action step to the platform.
Both use JavaScript, while the component set is based on React and the action step is based on Node.js, but with a few limitations.
In the next chapter, we’ll go over the back office in the older IDE of Betty Blocks. It’s a deprecated feature but still used widely by Betty Blocks users.
