Part 3: Hands-On Best Practices for Simple, Future-Proof Data Platforms
In this section, we will put to use the software engineering and dbt skills learned in the first two parts when looking at the full scale of a data platform. We will discuss realistic use cases and practice on sample data. We will analyze different data warehousing architectures and delve deeper into two of the key aspects of managing information: managing identities and dealing with the history of changes.
We’ll close by looking into patterns for special use cases and suggestions to publish dependable datasets.
