Summary
In this chapter, we learned about the valuable tools that help you troubleshoot and recover from the typical issues experienced when running AD DS workloads. We also discussed how to enable and use Active Directory Recycle Bin to restore deleted objects, how to use DSRM to recover a corrupt AD database and/or corrupted objects, and how to recover the SYSVOL
folder and files necessary for running AD services.
We then learned about tools available to determine AD replication issues and how to resolve them, how to troubleshoot hybrid authentication issues, and how to troubleshoot the general issues encountered when running AD on-premises, consistent with the AZ-801 exam objectives.
In the next chapter, we will review the objectives in this guide using a question-and-answer approach to test and validate your knowledge prior to scheduling your exam.
