What is Pivotal Web Services (PWS)?

Pivotal Web Services (PWS, pronounced P-Dubs), is one of the largest Pivotal Cloud Foundry foundations in operation. It is hosted on AWS and is an easy on-ramp to Cloud Foundry for developers to start with since it is publicly available over the internet. PWS is a fully managed version of Cloud Foundry that runs on a public cloud. You can get up and running immediately with a free trial subscription, without the need to use a credit card, which makes it a standout offering for those application developers wishing to learn and familiarize themselves with Cloud Foundry and the additional features provided by the Pivotal Cloud Foundry distribution.
