Reviewing the data model
With the template workbook created, we are now ready to review how the Honeycode team set up the data model for the Event Management app. However, before we dive into that, let's take a couple of minutes to think about the data that is required for such an app.
For an event, we will need to capture details including, but not limited to, the date, the time, the place, information about various activities in the event, information about the speakers or hosts in the case of workshops or talks, and more. We will need information about the participants, such as their name, their phone number, and their registration details. Furthermore, we would like to reduce the queues at the help desk by providing basic FAQs and self-help tools for participants.
