Summary
In this chapter, we looked at the different components of the underlying architecture for Microsoft Azure Stack Hub. We learned that the hyper-converged infrastructure consists of compute, storage, and networking components in a single appliance. We should now be able to describe the Microsoft Azure Stack Hub storage stack. We should also be able to describe the compute stack, alongside the networking stack for Microsoft Azure Stack Hub.
With that, we have been introduced to the different roles involved in administering an Azure Stack Hub instance and had our first introduction to the Azure Stack Hub Administration portal. We should now be familiar with the two different roles that are available: Cloud Operator and Cloud Architect.
We then looked at how to configure for capacity, resiliency, and performance in Microsoft Azure Stack Hub. We looked at the considerations we should take into account when we're planning to implement Microsoft Azure Stack Hub.
