Using Amazon CloudFront to cache data on edge locations

Raj: While you were investigating ElastiCache, we’ve been checking some possibilities for our other problem: customers in remote locations. This is much more related to internet connectivity rather than an application issue, so maybe we’ll have to coordinate this with our network team. The solution is also based on caching part of the data.
Charles: Yes, let me explain the basics. What happens if our customers are not physically near an AWS Region? Some countries have one or several Regions nearby but others might not. Take a look at the Region map provided by AWS, and look at where we have set up our applications.
